What data we collect

BAC may collect and process personal data including:

  • identification and contact details;
  • KYC / AML information;
  • financial information required to assess investor eligibility and accreditation;
  • transaction and subscription-related information.

Why we collect this data

Personal data is processed for the purposes of:

  • complying with applicable laws and regulations (including CBB, AML, FATCA/CRS);
  • onboarding and administering investors;
  • performing contractual obligations;
  • ongoing regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements.

How data is used and shared

Personal data may be shared with:

  • fund administrators, registrars, custodians, and other service providers acting on BAC’s instructions;
  • regulators, supervisory authorities, and auditors where required;
  • professional advisers where necessary.

Cross-border transfers

Some personal data may be transferred or accessed outside Bahrain, including through the use of cloud-based systems or in connection with foreign investors or service providers. Such transfers are undertaken in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Data retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as required to meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Investors may request access to or correction of their personal data, subject to applicable legal and regulatory restrictions.
